Formula:
Each 100 mL contains:
Ceftiofur hydrochloride 5.35 g (*)
Excipients q.s.ad. 100 mL
(*) Equivalent to 5 g of Ceftiofur base
Indications:
Broad spectrum antibiotic (new-generation Cephalosporin), for the control and treatment of diseases caused by Gram positive, Gram negative, including bacteria which produce beta – lactamase in bovine and swine.
Target species:
Bovine and swine.
Withdrawal period:
Meat:
Swine 4 days; Bovine 2 days.
Milk:
0 days.
Route of administration:
Shake well before using.
Subcutaneous or intramuscular injection in bovine; deep intramuscular injection in swine.
Dosage:
Bovine:
1.1 to 2.2 mg per 1 kg of body weight (1 to 2 mL/50 kg of weight), every 24 hours during 3 to 5 consecutive days.
Swine:
3 to 5 mg per 1 kg of body weight (3 to 5 mL/50 kg of weight), every 24 hours during 3 to 5 consecutive days.
