methionine. Adenosylcobalamin is the active of vitamin b12 involved in the

ADMINISTRATION ROUTE
Intramuscular or intravenous.
DOSAGE
Bovines and equines: 5 to 10 ml (1.5 mg per kg of body weight), twice a day in a period of 6 to 8 hours.
Porcines: 0.5 ml every 50 kg of body weight.
Canines: 0.4 ml per kg of body weight (2 mg per kg) every 12 hours (total maximum dose: 40 mg).
Felines: 0.25 to 0.50 ml every 5 kg of body weight (total dose 5 mg).

PROPERTIES
• Rapid action diuretic which presents evident effects within just minutes, as it reduces edemas caused by renal, hepatic and cardiac affections or burns. It intensifies the aqueous elimination or diuresis. It increases sodium, potassium and chlorine ions excretion. It is very helpful in forced diuresis for the treatment of intoxication.
• It is recommended to prevent epistaxis ("bloodlettings") in racehorses
WARNINGS
Do not consume meat from treated animals until 48 hours after the last treatment. Milk from treated bovines should not be consumed until 48 hours after the last treatment. Dosing should be adjusted to the individual response of each animal. Do not administer to dehydrated animals
