Product Description:

AV-FENBEN soluble powder is a vet-prescribed drug that is used for the prevention and treatment of helminths in animals.

Composition of AV-Fenben:

Each 100 gram of AV-Fenben contains:

  • Fenbendazole 4 gr

  • Excipient q.s 100 gr

AV-Fenben Indications:

  • Fenbendazole is an anthelmintic of the benzi­midazole family. It is active against immature and mature stages of nematodes in the gastrointestinal, respiratory, and renal tracts of poultry. It also has a good ovicidal effect. 

  • Fenbendazole has a significant role in the prevention and treatment of infestations by nematodes of the gastrointestinal, respiratory, and renal tracts of swine and poultry.

DOSAGE:

AV-Fenben is prescribed in the following doses unless otherwise prescribed by the veterinarian:

AV-Fenben dosage for poultry:

Single treatment: 15 - 30 mg per kg body weight.

Continuous prevention of roundworm and tapeworm: 30 ppm or 750 gr per ton of feed for 6 days.

Treatment for roundworm and tapeworm: 60 ppm or 1.5 kg per ton of feed for 3 days.

Treatment for tapeworm (severe infection): 60 ppm or 1.5 kg for 6 days.

Single treatment: 12.5 gr per 100 kg body weight.

Con­tinuous administration mixed with the feed: 1.05 g/50 kg body weight per day for 6 consecutive days.

AV-Fenben dosage for cows:

Single treatment: 38 g / 100 kg body weight.

AV-Fenben dosage for Pigeon:

25 mg/kg body weight per day. This dose should be administered twice at a time interval of 14 days.

AV-Fenben Instructions of Use: 

  • Do not use AV-Fenben for animals if they are hypersensitive to its ingredients.

  • Ask your vet before taking AV-Fenben in combination with any other medications, it may lead to unwanted circumstances or adverse effects.

  • In case of wrong use or dosage calculations, please contact your vet immediately.

 WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:

  • Poultry: 7 days before slaughter or egg harvest. 

  • Cattle: 3 days.

  • Swine: 14 days before slaughter.

STORAGE:

  • Store AV-Fenben in a cool and dry place, keep away from direct sunlight.

  • Keep the drug away from children.

  • Keep the drug away from animals.
