Properties:
- Antianemic, antineuritic and hematopoietic agent useful for the prevention and treatment of B complex vitamin deficiency.
- Appetite stimulant.
- Recommended for the treatment of weak or convalescent animals.
- B complex vitamins act as enzymes in the metabolism of carbohydrates (essential energy source) and promote growth.
- These are co-enzymes for the metabolism of proteins which are necessary for the synthesis of primary amines.
- They are essential to the maintenance of the nervous system and assist in the treatment of nervous disorders and lack of muscle-motor coordination, as well as in the formation of red blood cells (hematopoiesis).
Dosage and Administration:
- Equines and bovines:
5 to 10 ml.
- Canines and felines:
1 to 3 ml.
- Ostriches 3 to 6 months old:
2 to 5 ml, twice a week.
- Ostriches 6 months old and older:
4 to 8 ml, twice a week.
The dosage may be reduced or increased according to the zootechnician veterinarian, considering the clinical and physical state of the ostrich.
- Birds:
0.1 to 0.2 ml.
Intramuscular or slow intravenous administration.
