Composition
Each mL contains:
Iron dextran complex (Iron) 200 mg.
Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) 10 µg.
Cobalt 10 µg.
Zinc 0.5 mg.
Excipients q.s. 1 mL.
Uses
Prophylaxis and treatment of deficiencies of Iron and Vitamin B12.
Chronic blood loss due to the presence of parasites (Strongyles in the horse and nematodes that suck blood from the stomach and intestine of ruminants).
Constant loss of blood due to various causes, such as hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, hemorrhagic cystitis and hemorrhages caused by dehorning, castration, and expulsion of a corpus luteum.
Injectable hematopoietic to counteract the syndrome of iron deficiency anemia and pernicious anemia.
The main active iron component of this product, stimulates the formation of erythrocytes, is absorbed according to the need for erythropoiesis, which increases in case of hemorrhages, anemias and hypoxia status.
Vitamin B12 is an important maturation factor in normal erythropoiesis.
It also contains Zinc, essential micromineral for the synthesis of metalloenzymes, important for nucleic acids, cell membrane and protein synthesis; it is also important for growth, tissue repair, respiratory function (mitochondrial) and cell division.
Cobalt acts in the synthesis of vitamin B12, and is involved in the maturation of red blood cells.
Administration
Deep intramuscular.
Dosage
Bovines: 5 mL / 1st, 4th and 6th week of age.
Lambs and Goat: 1- 2 mL (at 7 days of life).
Calves and Colts: 3 - 5 mL.
Canines and Felines: 0, 5 - 2mL.
The duration of the treatment is given by the evolution of the animal's condition and / or according to the therapeutic criteria of the Veterinarian
