About the product:
AV-Genta 10% Inj. is a medication that contains the antibiotic gentamicin. It treats bacterial infections, particularly those caused by gram-negative bacteria.
Gentamicin works by interfering with the bacteria's ability to produce proteins, which are necessary for their growth and survival. This leads to the death of the bacteria and the resolution of the infection.
AV-Genta is administered by injection into a vein or muscle, under the supervision of a healthcare professional. The dosage and duration of treatment will depend on the type and severity of the infection, as well as the animal's age, weight, and other medical conditions.
AV-Genta 10% is a prescription medication and should only be used under the guidance of a qualified healthcare provider. It is essential to follow the instructions provided by the healthcare provider and to complete the full course of treatment, even if symptoms improve before the medication is finished.
