Azomyne® (azithromycin) is a macrolide antibiotic that can treat different types of infections such as respiratory infections (bronchitis; pneumonia; throat and tonsil infections), sexually transmitted diseases, skin infections, and ear infections among others. It can also be used as one component of a triple-therapy regimen to eradicate Helicobacter pylori in cases of GERD.
Typically Azomyne® (azithromycin) is given as a single daily dose for three days, increasing compliance, although it usually takes 7 days for a treat. However, consult your doctor on your particulars. Your doctor may also need to monitor your liver and your use of any other drugs.
